The Penguins of Madagascar S01E18 - Miracle On Ice The Penguins of Madagascar is a spin-off of the Madagascar films, which takes place after the second movie. The series follows the adventures of four penguins: Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico, who perform various missions to protect their home in the Central Park Zoo. The penguins are constantly opposed by a trio of lemurs, Julien, Mort and Maurice, who believe that Julien is the rightful ruler of the zoo.
The penguins freeze their habitat so they can play a hockey game against each other. They are then challenged by a group of rats (the same rats featured in Crown Fools) to play against them, since the rats cannot go back into their sewer home because the pipes burst. Having been led to believe that the rats were not experienced in the game of hockey, the penguins agree to the game, agreeing also that the ice would then belong to the winner.
