The script of the first Astйrix movie combined elements from a few different books and it wasn't very successful. Then came the second, which was based in a single book. This was by far the best Astйrix movie.

A case of mistaken identity lands Slevin into the middle of a war being plotted by two of the citys most rival crime bosses: The Rabbi and The Boss. The story revolves around three soldiers -- Colee, TK and Cheever -- who return from the Iraq War after suffering injuries and learn that life has moved on without them. They end up on an unexpected road trip across the U.S., with Colee on a mission to bring her boyfriend's guitar back to his family because he saved her life.
