Best known as the frontman for the Canadian alt rock band Moist, singer/songwriter David Usher was born was born in Oxford, England on April 24, 1966; raised in Kingston, Ontario, he later studied political science at Vancouver’s Simon Fraser University, where in 1992 he formed Moist with guitarist Mark Makowy and keyboardist Kevin Young.
