Glenroy Davey, a.k.a. Mr. Pinnacle, is moving his career forward with this new release album "What Would Life Be". This is a added bonus to his accomplishment as an artist of good moral character and humble upbringing. This is second album from the folds of the Working Class Musik group, it was a long awaited album put together by some of Reggae Music's industry great musician and is bound to put a smile on anyone's face from the moment of the sounds from the first track and onwards. Produced and Released by Virgo an all-round industrial and charismatic engineer and one of the top rated Audio engineer in this time. Pinnacle's debut album titled Conscious Move, was credited to Dr. Paul also engineer. Pinnacle in addition to his work has been doing live shows to both promote his works and show the general public of his undying love and energy given to his craft. The Title Track "What Would Life Be" gives us an incite into his life and asks us all to wonder about the happenings in one's own life as each one of us pursue the wants and needs of our daily lives. With a cool crooner's lovers' rock and roots & culture style, Mr. Pinnacle's delivery is consummate reggae rockers, whether working in the studio or on stage. The gifted artist says, "I believe in lovers rock and cultural songs, they inhabit both the underground and the mainstream and fans will appreciate them for years to come, with this Album which I am about to release I hope the fans will get to hear and see more of what Mr. Pinnacle is made of".
Mr. Pinnacle started singing as a youth in his church, and loved gospel music but after being exposed to the music of Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, and Alton Ellis, he knew he wanted to become part of the reggae scene. As a teenager, Pinnacle began singing on sound systems dancehalls, where he would share the mic of Stereograph Sound with the likes of Admiral Bailey, Josey Wales and Shabba Ranks in Olympic Way jamaica. Some of the other sounds that have honed his style included Love Bunch, Roots Melody, Turbo Charge, Jack Ruby, and Tommy Phonic Sound, along with Shaggy Wonder. Mr. Pinnacle was also influenced by the R&B music that his cousin Nelson would play at home, spinning songs of the great Al Greene, Percy Sledge, Otis Reading, Michael Jackson and others. "I would try to sing and sound like them," says Mr. Pinnacle. His first recording was made at Grove Music Studio in Ocho Rios, released as "What They Learn" under the name Disco D and featuring Copper Ranks. Several other releases followed before Mr. Pinnacle migrated to South Florida. He got his first break there when he met producer/musician Dr. Paul. This collaboration led to his first official track under the name Mr. Pinnacle - a Christmas song called "Pinnacle Party", also others followed "Gideon", "Real Thing" and the chart topper "Missing You", which landed on WLRN's "Sounds of the Caribbean" Top 10 chart where it held the #1 spot for seven weeks.
