Released in September of 1991, Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ garnered near-unanimous praise and rose within a few months to the No. 1 slot on Billboard’s U.S. sales chart.
‘Nevermind’ was propelled to No. 1 across the globe by their young fans worldwide that identified with the band and embraced their anthem “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and its landmark music video.
It is one of the most influential albums of all time and now it's getting the special treatment it deserves.
Nirvana's Nevermind has reached it's 20th anniversary this week - yes, it's really been twenty years - and to celebrate the classic album is being released as a multi-formatted monster box set containing an incredible amount of music.
