This short-lived all-star group toured during part of 1991, and showcased in an intelligent and coherent fashion some of the top Young Lions of the era: trumpeters Roy Hargrove and Marlon Jordan, altoist Antonio Hart, Tim Warfield on tenor, guitarist Mark Whitfield, pianist Benny Green, bassist Christian McBride, and drummer Carl Allen.
