Nutz was a British hard/classic rock band formed in Liverpool in 1972. Originally called Harpoon, the band changed its name at the suggestion of A&M with whom it was to record four albums during that decade: Nutz , Nutz Too , Hard Nutz , Live Cutz .


In 1981, the band changed its name to Rage (not to be confused with German band, Rage, emerging around this time) and went onto record a further three rock/metal albums for the Carrere label until it folded upon the death of drummer John Mylett in a road accident on the island of Ibiza in 1984.

Nutz re-formed in 2010 with drummer Paul Ryan added to the line-up upon the release of live album Tightened Up! by the Market Square label.(Wikipedia)
