Elmo’s Animal Adventures is a collection of Sesame Street segments about animals – all featuring Elmo.  First, Little Bo Peep has lost a cow and Elmo and friends are on the hunt!  Then there’s a cute inbetween segment about the word metamorphosis, which is also mentioned in the following secgment. Next is the “Find The Amphibian” game show where Elmo & Abby learn all sorta of Animal facts. After the game show is an inbetween segment about habitats, followed by “Elmo’s Camping Adventures”.  The DVD would make a great gift for any young child.  It is full of the adorable Elmo plus a lot of learning that you’ve come to expect from Sesame Street.  The animal theme throughout will be a hit with kids.

Elmo is back in another kid attention capturing show. The first couple times this movie was played in our house, our youngest watched it. Like most young kids (just turned 2), she didn’t sit there for the entire movie, but she did enjoy it bits and pieces. When everyone sat to watch, my older 2 didn’t move the entire movie and protested when I tried to cut it short for bedtime. So, with my kids this movie was a hit

    As a parent, I really was impressed with the amount of learning in this video. Most Elmo movies seem to deal with the basics of what is being taught. This show had more complex learning then what you normally would find in a Elmo DVD. Introducting things such as metamorphosis, which Christy mentioned in her review). They did great job of explaning the word and giving examples. I appreciate movies that can capture the attention of all 3 of my kids. Usually there is a gap between the younger 2 and my oldest. This DVD is a great gift for a that special kid in your life.
