1981. Arctic Circle. Dead surface of the ice fields. Drifting station "Pole 21" just left the last occupant - Meteorologist Alexander Nesterov. He received an urgent telegram from the mainland and now must leave the expanse of the Arctic on a comfortable ship that will pick him in the prescribed place at the appointed hour. However, instead of a warm welcome awaits the scientist nightmare: By chance he will soon be on board the nuclear icebreaker "North Wind", many years ago, lost in the ice of nothingness.
ON the brink of insanity
Dead cold, the darkness of loneliness and abandonment - in a confined space wreck time has stopped and froze everything that was once alive and reasonable. Wandering in a vast labyrinth of holds and compartments infested with fear and despair, the hero must learn the dramatic story of the captain and his team, and overcoming the temptation to sink into lethargy and give back to serenity, to act firmly and decisively.
