Notable features of Just Cause 2 include the dual grappling hook, which gives players the ability to tether objects to each other. There are no limitations to what can be tethered. For example, videos of the game have demonstrated the ability to tether an enemy soldier to a taxiing passenger aircraft. This feature is useful in gameplay sitations, such as a high speed vehicle chase, wherein the player can simply use the dual hook to attach a pursuing vehicle to the ground, immediately forcing it to a stop and causing immense damage to the vehicle.
