Sid Meier's Civilization V - video game company Firaxis, fifth in a series of global turn-based strategy Civilization. Exit Games is scheduled for September 21, 2010. Available for download via Steam will be September 24, 2010. In the games of the series Civilization player creates and develops a civilization from prehistoric times to the near future.

In Civilization V will be presented hexagonal marking territory, where one hexagon can run only one combat unit, the new game engine and improved system of diplomacy. In addition, support will be further developed custom modifications and multiplayer mode. Among other changes, developers mention the opportunity to bombard the city siege-guns, not only with neighboring cells, as well as the growing influence of terrain on the outcome of the battle.
