This has 92 Python programming books as of Nov 2010. It is basically an updated version of the older Aug 2010. In this update some new books were added and some were updated. All books on Jython and IronPython were deleted because these topics are too specific and unpopular relative to Python itself.
Older editions are intentionally excluded if a newer edition is available. Source code files are generally excluded as well. Books on popular specific topics such as Jython, IronPython, Django, Zope, etc. are excluded too, because there are several books on those topics, and I think they are specific to include here. As such, this is not meant to fully cover any third party implementation or library. A few of the included books are in multiple formats, as indicated by their respective names.

For your convenience, I've chosen to not zip the books. This allows you to download only the books that you don't already have, if you so desire. Obviously, it's easier to download them all. Here is a list of what's included, reverse sorted by file last modification date. This is intended to help you get an idea of what's new, in case you're curious. Note that the sort order of file creation date is only an estimate for its actual inclusion date in the collection.
Official documentation books are not included. They're probably the first thing anyone should look at, before jumping to any commercial books. In particular, the Python website provides a set of useful PDFs, as do several third party library websites.Python is the ideal first language for anyone who wants to learn programming. "Python Programming for the Absolute Beginner, Second Edition" teaches the art of programming using this powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use language and a step-by-step approach. The book provides an introduction to programming and also moves on to more advanced topics such as data structures, file handling, exceptions, object oriented programming, and graphics. Readers are encouraged to challenge themselves with additional chapter projects that will have them programming on their own.
