Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike.

Capcom has announced at the event X10 release date for its action Dead Rising 2, and announced a new game in the series Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. Dead Rising 2 will be released on September 3 this year in Europe and on August 31 in North America. Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be released even earlier this is a small game that, according to representatives of Capcom, will link the story of the first and second parts of Dead Rising, along, and will give players the first time taste the gameplay of the sequel.
