January, 1942. The Japanese war machine thunders across South East Asia. In its path, on the island of New Britain, lies a tiny Catholic mission station, Vunapope. Here a handful of Australian nurses take refuge with wounded Australian soldiers...

The story centers around five attractive girls who find themselves trapped in an unfamiliar place with a strange voice telling them that one of them has to sacrifice her life in a diabolical ritual. Struggling to survive, the girls need to reveal their sins and sexual experiences in order to satisfy the devilish voice.
