Take Indiana Jones and replace him with a beautiful knockout redhead, pterodactyls and? mummies, early 20th century technology, and a slew of CGI, and you’ll get an inkling of what lies behind Luc Besson’s costumer/ creature feature, “The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec” – this polished comic book adaptation is most notable for newcomer Louise Bourgoin’s captivating perf as a fearless, wisecracking heroine who — this being France — drinks, smokes and plays in the buff. Massive local rollout delivered a strong opening, and should venture beyond Francophone markets.

An adventure set in the early party of the 20th century and focused on a popular novelist and her dealings with would-be suitors, the cops, monsters, and other distractions.

Desperate to cure her near catatonic sister, intrepid authoress Adиle Blanc-Sec braves ancient Egyptian tombs and modern Egyptian lowlife to locate a mummified doctor and get him back to Paris. Her hope is that oddball Professor Espйrandieu will then use his unusual powers to bring the doctor back to life so he, in turn, can use his centuries-old skills on the unfortunate sister. In Paris however Espйrandieu is already causing mayhem, having brought to life what was a safe museum egg but is now a very active pterodactyl. Paris 1911 may not be the healthiest place to be.

Someone Like You is a song by British singer-songwriter Adele. Written by Adele and Dan Wilson for her second studio album 21, the song was inspired by a broken relationship of hers, and lyrically it speaks of Adele coming to terms with it. An accompanying music video for the song was directed by Jake Nava and it was filmed in Paris, France. The video showed Adele walking alone through the streets with a sad look on her face. Critics praised the video for being simple and perfect for the sound of the song.
