Balades / 2010 / DVDRip / 1.4 GB
This review is in regards to delivery - I can't testify as to the service/ambiance of the actual restaurant.
That being said - this may be the best middle eastern food I've had since moving to NYC a year and a half ago. The grape leaves were perfect and not greasy, the babaghanoush was flavorful and tangy without being string and the spinach and feta pies were perfect. I can't say the falafel is the best I've had, but it wasn't bad by any means, Mamoun's just sets the bar a bit high. However, the labneh was the best I've ever tasted.
A note about delivery - they send you your food in divided plates so that everything doesn't get mixed together - this alone gives them big points in my book.
All in, a great find for upscale Mediterranean food in NYC, I can't wait to go try them out in person!!
