Tony Robinson and the Team get their feet wet as they examine a stretch of the River Tees where local divers have found over 2000 Roman finds. With part of the site beneath the water some of Time Team s finest have to squeeze into wet suits and brave the fast flowing river.

Time Team descend upon the Scottish island of Mull at the invitation of two local amateur archaeologists. Eager for the Team to investigate a mysterious set of earthworks they ve stumbled upon in a forest near the fabled town of Tobermory, the pair believe - or at least hope - that they may have discovered one of the earliest chapels in Scotland. The Team agree, suspecting that they may be investigating the remains of a chapel set up by Saint Columba. If they re right they may have found a previously unknown outpost of the Irish priest who brought Christianity to the north of Britain. However, the location is remote and the journey to it on foot is arduous; and when human remains are recovered there are fears that, under Scottish law, the site will be closed down as a potential crime scene. But the dig on Mull sheds new light on a lost period of Scottish history, discovers a previously unknown monastery and, most extraordinary of all, uncovers the remains of a lost Saint.
