Tron: Evolution is the movie tie-in game for the feature film Tron: Legacy. The game is a third person action/adventure that includes RPG elements along with Light Cycle racing. The game is set prior to the events of the movie and does not contain spoilers for the movie but there are several characters in the game from the film.

Hacker/arcade owner Kevin Flynn who is digitally broken down into a data stream by a villainous software pirate known as the Master Control and reconstituted into the internal, 3-D graphical world of computers. It is there, in the ultimate blazingly colorful, geometrically intense landscapes of cyberspace, that Flynn joins forces with Tron to outmaneuver the Master Control program that holds them captive in the equivalent of a gigantic, infinitely challenging computer game.

Inspired by the story and style of TRON, the 1982 cult film classic, TRON 2.0 is a contemporary sequel that takes place in the present day, approximately 20 years after the events of the film.
